Woolworths Site Looks Like a Horse Paddock with no Sewerage Entitlement

Even the horses are demonstrating against the Woolworths sewerage plans

It appears from sales records that, Mallams in December 07, did a deal with State Rail to purchase the Station St property for $1.326M. We all enjoyed our Christmas and Mallams started the New Year, January 08 by selling that same property to Woolworths for $3.8M. It appears that Mallam’s have picked up a $2.474M profit for land component (not the sale of the business) of their sell out to Woolworths.

Should that be the case then Byron Shire Council’s  purchase of the adjoining ‘Telstra site’ looks a bargain at $461,000 as Council’s land and building has an existing sewerage connection entitlement unlike Woolworth’s boggy horse paddock.
