MDEG is campaigning against rapid coal mine development in the region.
Cumulative impacts on climate, biodiversity, water sources, air quality,
noise pollution, community health, social cohesion and land values are of
major concern. Wilpinjong coal mine was the first Part 3A major development
to be approved in NSW in February 2006.
