Mullumbimby Community Garden Project

The Mullumbimby Community Garden will offer garden plots for lease, one per family or organisation, where members can grow vegetables and herbs in their own allotment.

There will also be communal garden plots in which fresh produce is grown to supply charities for emergency food relief. There is also an aim to establish a variety of programs including Horticultural Therapy, Community Art, Biodynamic Gardening Workshops and Seed Saving. Alternative technologies and sustainable practices will feature in the infrastructure of the garden providing a model for community eduction, research and hands on experimental programs.
